I have been slacking on my posting for a while! I have been working/traveling/creating like mad. I did want to share some of the creations I have been making lately! Please visit my Etsy below:
This picture was taken from the world's longest floating bridge in Couer D'Alene, Idaho. Just really gorgeous!
Well now my life may just be complete...okay not really.... BUT I am loving this holographic "unicorn trainer" pouch from Forever 21! Stay magical everyone!
10,000 Buddhas! This awesome artist Amanda Giacomini (@10000buddhas on instagram) spray painted these rad buddhas outside of the Yoga Toes Studio in Point Reyes, California where she teaches yoga classes in the studio she and her husband opened 15 years ago. Check out her awesome art, some of which I have seen in Venice, CA among other places at http://www.amandagiacomini.com/ .
Oakland today was in the words of Dane Cook- "a blasty blast!" The morning started off at Brown Sugar Kitchen, a delic breakfast place located in West Oakland...Zagat rated...I do my google research people :) ...They did say the wait would be an hour, so I figured it's got to be good, right?....Well it is! People rave about the chicken and waffles, but since I don't do meat, I went for the hot chocolate, featured above, with a huge marshmellow on top! They also have organic grits which I am pretty certain I will be back for.
As we cruised around the neighborhood there was ample street art to check out. One of my favorites is above- a take on baphomet, done by perhaps Reyes, I'm not 100% sure but the name was featured on the piece to the left. Seriously awesome stuff out there. I can't wait to go back soon and see more of what Oakland has to offer!
Let's talk about these new boots I got from Target! They are Mossimo combat style boots, super comfy (they zip up the side, so you don't even have to tie them...perfect for getting out the door quickly!), filled with fun flowers for fall. They are $34.99 online but I got them on sale at Target for $11!! I can't say enough about them. They also have them in Black and Burgundy, very classic choices for Fall.
